Just a quick one to say~
Happy Easter!
We have family in town this weekend and have had a nice time just relaxing and enjoying our new place. We'll have a big lunch (I LOVE my new kitchen!) and dye some eggs and set some time aside to truly celebrate what this holiday means to us~

There's no place like home!

We are in the new place!!
Yesterday was our big day, and let me just tell you- it was fantastic~not in the sense that I want to do it again next week but in the sense of we have such amazing friends, we were organized the weeks leading up to it, and it went by in two hours! For those of you who don't live here-- that is a feat to be bragged on! You might think- of course it only took two hours, you guys live in a shoebox-- but that is not the case.

We started at 8:00-- the sky was clear, the temp perfect and Gabe was able to find a spot two houses down! We feel that the day really was covered in prayer and bc of that yesterday turned out to be a fun day! we had a really good group and by 10:30 we were all chilling in our new place!

We unpacked just about everything but everything does not have a home yet. All in all we feel pretty settled and tonight we enjoyed our first home cooked meal since Wed. (by candlelight nonetheless!)

It's raining, it's pouring, the Robinsons are packing...

What a perfect day to be stuck inside packing (and hopefully cleaning)~ If it was sunny out I would want to be out and about!
We are pretty close to being finished we just have those odds and ends that you aren't really sure what you should do with. Plus it seems like we have 50 piles of junk- I really don't want to move those to the new place!
Last night we brought our clothes over and a few fragile items- that made us feel a little bit better and allowed us to see that we really have been organized about this whole thing. I'll let you know next week if I feel the same way~

I know this looks like one huge mess...but it really isn't- we have moved all of our- "what shall we do with these" to one pile!

Breaking the unbreakable~

Gabe and I were making some yummy asparagus the other night to go with dinner and all of a sudden we heard a sizzling noise. When I opened the oven, I was blinded by smoke and saw that our new pan was cracked straight down the middle. The oil then drizzled down to the bottom of the oven~
Stink!

Gabe and I are busy packing, o the joys of moving!! The 15th will be here before you know it! I have the tv on and am listening to some shows....they don't come in that well (we don't have cable) But- I just heard that Jared the Subway diet guy has kept his 200+ pounds off for 10 years- how impressive. I feel that 'AD' was run yesterday...could it really be 10 years? Congrats J!

Organized Madness

Gabe and I are busily preparing for our move in two weeks....Our place is so small that after we pack a box we are at a loss of what to do with it. We have made our little bonus room the box room- I thought we were pretty organized until I looked at it after we called it quits today...You can judge for yourself. I have some before and after pics.

The Breedloves are coming over for dinner- they will prob. be our last friends that we entertain at this place...Although I am really excited about our new place I am starting to get a little sad about leaving our first bungalow in the big city!
