For those of you who have no clue what Gabe is talking about in the below post- neither do I....that is a picture of Duke's basketball team. Gabe went to Carolina and as you can guess they are big rivals in NCAA basketball. Please note: Carolina won it all this past year:)

But for my faithful followers I must give you what you really want...pictures of our girl;) Ok maybe not but here you go. I decided to torture the girl for a few minutes and put a turtle neck on her.

Out with the old and in with the New

The couch has FINALLY arrived.
I feel like such an adult, our very first piece of furniture that we have purchased- brand new..it's not a hand me down, it's not used...I got to pick the fabric- Pinch me!
We are pretty happy with how it looks in our place...

Garden where you can....

So- Gabe and I aren't to handy in the garden but we have many friends here who dream of one day having a yard and growing things- pretty and tasty things! I love to enjoy the flowers and eat fresh veg but just don't have a green thumb.

The other day while walking Dakota- I noticed this pickup-


Doesn't look all that special huh?
But to my surprise- this amazingly creative NY'er planted a garden in the bed of his or her truck

Complete with cheesy lawn ornaments and farm animals!
