I thought it was OK. The best OK movie of the year.
I was just as riveted reading about the movie (before I saw it) as I was during the movie. Watching the movie took a lot longer, though.
My favorite scene was the scene where those repair guys (phone installation guys?) come into the hospital room and make fun of Bauby and Bauby laughs (silently, inside his paralyzed head) along with the guys.
I was more riveted watching Adventures in Babysitting tonight. That's a less-poignant, more-engrossing movie than Diving Bell was, or maybe could have been.
I'd like to see a documentary about Bauby's life. Or maybe read the book someday.
